Your mission

In the role of teacher, you will teach our classes in business subjects and entrepreneurship. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in your subjects based on the curriculum. You adapt the teaching to the needs, interests, and conditions of the students. You follow up, assess, grade, and document students' knowledge development. Furthermore, you create trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. As a mentor, your most important task is to motivate students in their studies and strengthen their self-esteem and social development.

Together with colleagues, you drive various projects and collaborate on students' learning. You belong to a team where you work together on systematic quality work, overall school development, and the development of students' high school programs. You meet with your subject colleagues regularly for planning, assessment, and grading.

Your experience

For this position, it is required that you have:

• teaching certification with subject competence in business subjects for high school
• good digital competence with experience working with digital pedagogical tools
• good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• experience working as a teacher in business subjects and entrepreneurship at the high school level or equivalent
• subject competence for high school in other subjects than business and entrepreneurship
• experience in mentorship.

YBC is an innovative and forward-thinking high school in Sickla with approximately 1000 students divided into three programs: economics, natural sciences, and social sciences. In the economics program, there is also a special educational activity for students with autism.
